THE AYLSHAM SHOW
The 62nd Aylsham Show will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, 25th August 2008 at Blickling Park, near Aylsham, Norfolk, NR11 6NF.
The Aylsham Show is a traditional one-day agricultural show, set in the picturesque parkland of Blickling Park, a well known National Trust estate. With an average attendance of 15,000 visitors, it is considered to be the largest of its type in East Anglia.
Gates open at 8.00 a.m.
Admission charges Adults £10 Children under 16 free.
Car Parking is free of charge.
With a varied main ring, side ring attractions, judging of cattle, sheep, goats, horses & ponies and show jumping together with everything from classic cars and military vehicles to dog agility, floral displays and art marquee there is something for everyone at The Aylsham Show and we look forward to seeing you there.
GUS DERMODY SHEEPDOG DISPLAY
Gus Dermody is the commentator/presenter of the BBC2’s One Man and His Dog. He has successfully competed at numerous sheepdog trials and also acted as a judge in that capacity. Gus presents an entertaining, informative and humorous display using up to 4 dogs, working geese and ducks and asks children from the audience to help. He has given displays at Royal occasions and travelled as far north as Perth as far south as Kent and Cornwall. The demonstrations are enhanced by Gus’ own uniquely distinctive commentary, which combine the wit and wisdom of this age old craft.


X-TREME BIKE DISPLAY
Watch in amazement as you see multi-British and International Champions Martin Crosswaite and Dan Clarke perform an unbelievable and totally unique motorcycle stunt show. With a brand new show for 2008 designed to “up the level” from anything that has been seen before in the UK. The show is based around a large truck that transforms into a series of impossible looking obstacles for the lads to ride a motorbike over. You won’t believe your eyes when you see what is really possible on two wheels by the top riders in the world. With their blend of pure riding skill and good light hearted humour the X-treme Trial Show is suitable for all the family and guarantees to leave the spectator with the WOW factor.
SNORING
The BBC are keen to hear from snorers and/or their long suffering partners for a TV programme about sleep. The programme is interested in testing which kind of snorer you are and offering remedies.
