Main Ring Attractions - 2008 X-TREME TRIALS DISPLAY TEAM
Watch in amazement as you see multi-British and International Champions Martin Crosswaite and Dan Clarke perform an unbelievable and totally unique motorcycle stunt show. With a brand new show for 2008 designed to “up the level” from anything that has been seen before in the UK. The show is based around a large truck that transforms into a series of impossible looking obstacles for the lads to ride a motorbike over. You won’t believe your eyes when you see what is really possible on two wheels by the top riders in the world. With their blend of pure riding skill and good light hearted humour the X-treme Trial Show is suitable for all the family and guarantees to leave the spectator with the WOW factor.
GUS DERMODY SHEEPDOG DISPLAY
Gus Dermody is the commentator/presenter of the BBC2’s One Man and His Dog. He has successfully competed at numerous sheepdog trials and also acted as a judge in that capacity. Gus presents an entertaining, informative and humorous display using up to 4 dogs, working geese and ducks and asks children from the audience to help. He has given displays at Royal occasions and travelled as far north as Perth as far south as Kent and Cornwall. The demonstrations are enhanced by Gus’ own uniquely distinctive commentary, which combine the wit and wisdom of this age old craft.
EAGLE HEIGHTS EAGLE & VULTURE DISPLAY
This is probably the most comprehensive bird of prey display team in the UK presented by Falconer Emma Moore. Watch in awe as “Kayla” the Bald Eagle soars above the crowd and chuckle at “Posh” and “Becks” the White- backed Vultures as they gallop across the arena. Get ready to duck as “Jade” the 120 mph Falcon, hurtles across the heads of the crowd and gasp as the unsuspecting members of the public, having been transformed into rabbits, escape the 2 pursuing Hawks!. Plus there will be lots of ‘oohs and aahs’ as the little Barn Owl floats around the crowd. A European Eagle Owl will also make an appearance. When not being flown the birds will be on static display for all to see and photograph.
BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEMORIAL FLIGHT
We are awaiting confirmation that the nostalgic Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster will again be making an appearance at the Show. These planes always create an enormous amount of interest as they perform unique display over the speculate lake at Blickling Park
